The United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 includes targets for countries to build inclusive education systems by 2030. To achieve these targets, it is critical that inclusive education policies are established. This resource kit has been developed to assist policymakers and educators to implement these inclusive education policies and practices.

The resources and tools are free and for everyone involved in the education system. Resources for policymakers support them to embed inclusion and equity into educational policies. Classroom educators can use the resources to improve inclusive practices in their classrooms.

You can filter by the following audience types:

The resources cover a wide range of areas including the development and implementation of individualised education plans, teaching instruction and assessment, and online learning for students with disability from across the globe. They can be adapted to national and local contexts.

Browse through the list of resources or type specific terms in the search bar. For example, for resources to support students with autism, type ‘autism’ in the search bar. All relevant resources will appear. Check the audience column to see if the resource fits your needs. The country column indicates where the resource was developed.

This list of resources was compiled as part of a review of disability-inclusive in-service teacher development programs in low- and middle-income countries in the Asia-Pacific region. There may be other relevant resources that are not contained in this list.
